Indra Kumar who started off as a producer with Ashok Thakeria for films like Mohobbat and Kasam and subsequently turned an individual director delivering super hits like Dil (1990), Beta (1992), Raja (1995) and other films, have come up with their 8th co-production - Masti. The film is a comedy of errors, like the first half of most Indra Kumar films (Dil, Raja, Ishq and Mann) with a little moral at the end.
Earlier titled 'Khujli' (the idea was dropped later), Masti is loosely inspired from a Hollywood comedy "The Seven-Year Itch", the film talks about the transformation most studs go through post-marriage, when they reflect on their glory days. The story revolves round three young married couples
