1 of 1 people found this review helpful The story is revolving around typical losers with average intellect who resort to follies, representing the agonies of "Great Indian Diaspora". Well, this is not the central theme but just a frivolous attempt to find reason to transport the entire cast and crew to Pataya. the sex capital of the world...

When four homeless and unemployed young men decide to pose as two married couples in order to land PG accommodation, you know you are in for some slapstick situations.

Actually,it's not really any kind of plot, just a series of scenes being played broadly, very broadly, for laughs.

Paying Guests is low in content aiming for cheap laughs. But if that's your idea of entertainment then enter at your own risk.

The puns and play on words are witty and do make you laugh in places, but the pace at which these are piled on to each other might not give the audience time to react.

Paying Guests is a rather painful picture that completely fails to even engage you. You couldn't care less what happens to the characters in the end. Sadly, they all go home smiling. You wish you could too.

It's a completely chaotic story that keeps hurtling towards doom from the word go. Presumably a comedy
, the film actually ends up making you cry --in sheer frustration -- rather than send you in splits.

A madcap caper crammed with childish gags by men in drag. Paying Guests is a film full of humour that is crass, and leaves you with a sore pain in the ?err?seat.

Even though Paying Guests was a successful play, the reason it does not work as a film,is probably due to the fact that there is a paucity of gags in the movie. Also the plot of the film unfolds within the first half hour or so,of the movie.

Overall, 'Paying Guests' is not a great film. It has enough loopholes. But if you are willing to leave your brains away for a while and are hoping to catch a laugh riot, this one is your best bet right now.

It is difficult to guess whom this movie was made for. Since some of the more ribald humour relies on double entendres from the English language it is unclear if the 'front benchers' will get the point every time.

Paying Guests impresses technically; cinematography is competent and sound design is excellent. Music by Sajid-Wajid is ho-hum. Dialogue veers from the typical crudely humorous ones to some genuinely funny one-liners.
