8 of 11 people found this review helpful Golmaal Returns, which stars Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles may just be the dark horse in the race at the box office. This sequel to the immensly successful Golmaal is the surprise package of this year. Don't miss it.

2 of 2 people found this review helpful The last five minutes of Golmaal Returns are the funniest I've seen in a movie theatre in a very long time. If only the film preceding it was even half as good.

1 of 3 people found this review helpful Perhaps, first word that you uttered after watching 'Golmaal' would have been 'Wow, Extraordinary'. So what could be your verdict for its sequel? 'Golmaal Returns ? Alas! Merely disappointing'. An idiosyncratic flick for an individual sans sixth sense or subnormal intelligence...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Technically the film is not stylistic at all. Yes it has color but it's literally all over the place. The editing is simplistic and so is the camerawork. Not that if it had been any other way it would have done wonders, simply because the characters were worn-out...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful The makers of this film were focused on cashing in on the success of the original. They have upped the star quotient and forgotten the plot in the process. Golmaal Returns is an insult to your intelligence and makes its predecessor look far superior...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful The funny moments in the film come from Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. Ajay Devgan chips in a bit of his own style of humour but he is certainly outshone by others. Kareena is charming in a light-hearted role...

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Golmaal Returns is a huge Diwali disappointment. With expectations so high, you probably will walk out feeling extremely disappointed from a movie that promises to be bigger and better! At the ticket window, the opening is expected to be huge, but poor word of mouth should affect the collections from Monday.

0 of 2 people found this review helpful 'Golmaal Returns' was not a good idea to make it happen. It should not have been churned out since the script, the performances and the direction all fall flat.

1 of 2 people found this review helpful This movie was never meant to make you think or use your brain power, but the attitude is! No-brainer comedies have worked in the past, and 'Golmaal Returns' does too! 'Golmaal Returns' has tried hard to capture elements of the first 'Golmaal', but has not completely succeeded.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful 'The breaking news is that Golmaal Returns is a clear rip-off of a 1973 Hindi film Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar . And though the era-old film was a decent story in itself and even remade as a Marathi film in the 80s, the Golmaal sequel doesn't match up to either while deriving from both.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns (like the proverbial bad penny) is like some 1980s Padmalaya pots-'n'-pans movie in which nothing makes sense, except that you are conned into spending your cash on some doodad that moves between Bangkok, Goa and Cuckooville.

0 of 1 people found this review helpful Rohit Shetty proved his knack for comedy with his previous work. With this film, it seems something has gone terribly wrong. Within the first few minutes of the film, you try to convince yourself that the movie might actually be good and the boring jokes are actually funny.
