2 of 2 people found this review helpful The major disappointment is the music. It is neither good nor bad, just repetitive of Mithoon. His score sounds more like that of the Emraan Hashmi starrer Train, and here's also an overdose of Atif Aslam.
That aside, Mahadevan has done a commendable job. Please go watch it.

Aggar starts off brilliantly. The first half of the movie is well knit with fast paced sequences required to carry off a thriller. With unimaginable sequences and twists that unfold gradually, the director has managed to grasp the attention of the viewer's all through...

1 of 1 people found this review helpful Tusshar delivers in a complex role. Shreyas breaks his goody boy image and impresses in a more serious role. Udita Goswami shows why she is seen in so less films. She urgently needs to brush up her acting skills, especially her expressions. Sophie Choudhary in a dubbed voice is okay.

Thrillers made across the globe have a common inntention in place, and that is to keep the suspense intact till the very end. Furiously, Anant Mahadevan chooses a disheartened climax for his storyline...

Clearly, the director was in a fix in trying to plot a premise and in the bargain ended up goofing up things. A little patience, a little more planning and a little more intellect to build up he beginning would have put the director in an enviable position because he has the end, firmly in place.

'Aggar' elicits a strong sense of deja vu, so similar is it to the same producer and director's 'Aksar'. Once again relationships are not all they seem and relying heavily on coincidence, a story of illicit romance, betrayal, obsession and terror is built. The only difference is here the denouement is somewhat of a surprise.

I didn't like the film. And from the look of their faces, I can say the same for the total number of 6 people who were in the cinema hall. Ok, so there's a bit of mild... very mild shock at the end, but that only serves as a wake-up call from the sleep-inducing proceedings.

Aggar is an insane mess of a film. The script and plot connections are weak and half crazed .sorry we meant half baked! The acting is uniformly bad and direction . well. what direction?...

The young actors are given mature characters and their discomfort is evident. Shreyas and Tusshar especially should stick to light-hearted roles.
The film looks very dull and the music is also nothing to write home about. In fact, this kind of a film desperately needed Emraan Hashmi and his trademark songs.
