THE FILM
Let's do this review differently. Instead of talking about the film, let's first analyze what is it about Kamal Rashid Khan a.k.a. KRK that made close to a dozen odd Bollywood baddies to become a part of the film? Of course, there is something about KRK because even though most of the names to follow are out of job in the multiplex era (that has resulted in chor-police, smugglers, 'heeron ki chori', 'docks pe maal utar gaya boss' etc. etc. out of vogue), they would still have needed some convincing to appear in their 2-3 scenes role. Let's talk about them:
Ranjeet: The veteran baddie has been in the business for decades now but when it came to playing KRK's dad (whose only day job is to beat his son mercilessly), he could hardly resist himself.
Raza Murad: Politics mein sabko apni kursi paayari hoti hai. Yes sir, we get the point, as you play a politician for the 238th time and make an entry and an exit in one scene flat.
Nirmal Pandey: His exit was even quicker. He had the honor of being bumped off by KRK just when he had relished an item song performance by Kim Sharma. Poor man didn't even have a single dialogue and after lustfully looking at the camera (let's have a bet, he wasn't even present on the sets when Kim's dance number was shot) and making embarrassing gestures, he was out of this 'duniya'.
Kader Khan: The senior most actor of the lot, he plays a quintessential Abdul Chacha who is a fruit vendor. KRK assists him for exactly 8 minutes and in this duration the fruits-ka-thela is smashed to bits by the 'hafta-vasooli' goons. No wonder, Chachu never came in 8 kilometers radius of KRK again.
Shiva: Captain Zattack from Hum makes a graduation from Amitabh Bachchan to KRK with Deshdrohi. Wahan bhi pite aur yahan bhi! The man is the second in line to fall to KRK's bullets and from here on, the man from Gorakhpur 'stops counting', as confessed in his own words. Shiva, you made history!
Aryan Vaid: Aryan too made history. He turned out to be the first Bollywood celebrity to dance along with Saif's girlfriend, well ex (if one may add), Rozza Catalano. He would have thought that it was the 'Beedi Jalaile' moment for him as he did a Vivek Oberoi on Rozza in his special 'song and dance appearance' act. Well, na rahi Rozza aur na raha Aryan as KRK walks away with all the accolades with his hilarious performance in the song!
Rana Jung Bahadur: He is that man with the silver eyes! A veteran of 50 odd movies who had made a spectacular debut with Kabrastan exactly 20 years back, Rana sahab got into a 'haspatal' with his doctor act. 'Pehle Police mein report likhao', he tells Gracy when she brings in a 'maut se jhoojhta' KRK after being hit by 3 (or was that 4) bullets. Poor man just went into the OT the moment Gracy threatened him with a revolver!
10 din baad......
Guess what, KRK is not just back on his feet but is back on road killing all the deshdrohis in the world! The ones that follow? Well, here is the list:
Mohan Joshi: Ditto comments as stated earlier for Raza Murad. And he has perhaps 2 scenes more than him.
Aroon Bakshi: 'Security ka taam-jhaam dekh lena', says the party worker and allows Mr. KRK to get into the chamber of Aman Verma with a loaded gun. He returns in two more scenes where he fails to differentiate between a 'Vande Mataram' and a 'Jana Gana Man'.
Aman Verma: Yeah, now here comes the man who actually has good enough footage in the film. To think about it, he isn't really bad in the movie and does well in what is offered to him. In fact he gets to enact the meatiest/lengthiest role of his career. No, for a change, I am not joking here!
Mukesh Tiwari: Another goon/don/politician/power broker/I don't know what. The man believes that he can be presented all fierce when captured from top camera angle where his body stands still while his eyes look up at the ceiling. Aaaah, menacing!
Yashpal Sharma: Another senior goonda who has graduated to being a problem shooter, he doubles up as a 'khoon kharaaba guru' as well.
And then there are two friends of KRK - Manoj Tiwari and Zulfi Syed. While former makes one wonder what makes him a superstar in Bhojpuri films, the latter makes one wonder what is he doing in Hindi films.
Ab bas, aur nahi!
PACKAGING
The film comes in a regular plastic case and the cover boasts of quite a few thrilling moments (cat chase shots, lip up skyscrapers etc.) none of which are present in the film!

CONCLUSION
The movie deserves two stars for nothing better but it's ability to join the cult league of
Jimmy [Mimoh Chakraborty] and hence act as a ready recipe for guaranteed laughs.
