The shooting of K Sera Sera and Sohail Khan Production’s upcoming comic flick Partner, directed by David Dhawan, was taking place on Thane Creek Bridge. Salman Khan, Lara Dutta and Rajpal Yadav were shooting a sequence on the bridge. Policemen were placed on duty to keep the crowds away. However, a huge swarm of onlookers had gathered around the location.
Assuming that an accident had taken place, a law student Santosh Mishra got off his bike and decided to help the accident victim. However, to his surprise, a policeman started charging him with a lathi! It is only then that he learned that it was not an accident but the shooting of the Govinda - Salman starrer Partnerthat was taking place on the bridge. The policemen were trying to disperse the crowd and kept charging at bystanders. Even as Mishra got on his bike to take the road again, the policemen hit his legs repeatedly.
An appalled Mishra wants to know if this is fair to someone who was just trying to be a good citizen! Sallu bhai, are you listening?
